Splash by the Beach is a luxury boutique in Limassol offering an exceptional retail experience with iconic brands. The 400-square-meter store spans two levels, with the ground floor divided into two sections: one housing Dior and Valentino boutiques, and the other, along with the first floor, showcasing haute couture brands like Fendi, Givenchy, Azzedine Alaïa, Versace, and Burberry and many more.
The design emphasizes elegant circulation and aesthetics using luxurious materials like marble and brass in soft tones of pink, beige, and white. Curvaceous design elements add a feminine touch, while mirrors, displays, and rails in polished brass create warm reflections. In the shoe gallery, brass backlit shelves and mirrors extend the perception of space.
The soft, ambient light sets the overall tone of the space, providing a warm and inviting atmosphere that encourages shoppers to linger, while it complements the elegant and feminine design of the boutique, enhancing the luxurious experience for customers.
Dynamic lighting techniques are employed to manipulate the perception of space. Backlit brass shelves along one side of the shoe gallery create a dramatic effect, highlighting the products while also casting a warm glow across the room. The use of brass mirrors on the opposite side amplifies the light, reflecting it back into the space and creating the illusion of a larger, more expansive area. This clever use of lighting not only enhances the product display but also contributes to the overall spatial experience.
Lighting plays a pivotal role, seamlessly integrating with the architecture to enhance the boutique's luxurious ambiance. The design employs a sophisticated, integrated lighting strategy that seamlessly merges with the architectural elements, creating an immersive and elegant atmosphere throughout the store. Concealed lighting solutions minimize visual clutter, subtly highlighting the store's features. Accent lighting with adjustable spotlights focuses on specific products to highlight the intricate details of haute couture garments and accessories. This type of lighting not only enhances the visual appeal of the products but also adds depth and dimension to the overall space, guiding customers’ attention to key areas of the boutique.
